The Kahrs Oak Buckingham Flooring, from the Kahrs Royal Collection, is an light oak floor with a misty white transparent stain and a brushed and oiled finish. It is a 1-strip floor and, like all the floors in the Royal Collection, it is a really wide and long plank, creating a luxuriously premium look. Each plank measure 2400mm x 305mm x 18mm. 4-Sided Bevelling ensures that premium full plank look and feel when laid.
The oiled finish protects the surface of the Kahrs Oak Buckingham Flooring against wear and tear. Kahrs recommend an extra coat of Kahrs Satin Oil is applied once the flooring is laid, to seal into the joints. The Oak Buckingham floor is carefully brushed during the manufacturing process to bring out the character of the grain and enhance the natural texture of the oak.
The floor has a Tongue and Groove joint and requires a glue-down installation. We recommend using Pallman P4 Solvent-free 1-component STP wood flooring adhesive. Both the floor and the Pallman P4 Adhesive are suitable for use with underfloor heating.
The Kahrs Oak Buckingham Flooring is sold in packs covering a total of 2.9m2 and the 3.5mm wear-layer means it can be re-sanded 3 – 4 times during its lifetime. Free hand samples are available via post, so you can see the flooring in the flesh (3 x samples max.). This is a premium floor that will stand the test of time and comes with a 30 year residential warranty.
